The Haunting

As I read the story, I have felt excitement because it's quiet suspense for me. The
lead of the story caught up my curiosity that led me to continue reading. The
haunting shows conflict between people differ with their faith. It glued my
interest because this is somewhat unusual. With that, it gave me urge to read more
for further information. Hence, it's indeed worth reading.

The story was presented in a first person point of view. The character of the story
has the power to manipulate and dictate the flow of the story. The story rarely
used figurative language because this is more likely in a real life situation. It
used imagery as well. In addition, the author reveals the personality of the
character which is Liza at the end of the story.

In real life, the story is related to a conflict between the government and
Muslims. It is happening for real. Its best example is the terrorism happened in
Marawi where many people died because of the terrorists. The story and the real
life situation are happening directly to the people. We can't deny the fact that
there will be contradictions between the government's system and religious' system.
