1. Introduction

Pizza2Go has been the most successful Vietnamese pizza company with huge amount of
options to choose in menu, great marketing strategies, but every company has its own
problem and Pizza2Go is not exceptional. They struggled with some issues

This case-study will take a closer look at the case and spot several problems in the working
environment of Pizza2Go employees. Some solutions and recommendations will also be
suggested on how Pizza2Go can be better at treating employees and build a strong company
culture.

2. Company background

Pizza2Go sells more than 1 million pizzas per year with make a differentiation by enlarge
their menu for more than 2,000 options which leads customers taste and promise to deliver
their products within 25to30 minutes compares to other pizza stores in Vietnam.

They basically earns their profit by getting royalty from franchisees with every sale they had
which means more franchisees, more profit to head office.

However, the company choose its franchisees advertently because most of franchisees who
choose to open the store of Pizza2Go that they expect high margin, but when they couldn’t
earn enough profit they think, they complain about head office’s miss management like
perception of head office only consider for corporate level employee and issue of cost of
labor. These dissatisfaction of store owners are due to many different reasons including high
competition in fast-food industry make cost of pizza cheaper and running the store need
certain amount of cost which is very burden for them.
