Minutiae

The word means "the little things," this word has been apart of my vocabulary eversince I was in Senior
High, I discovered it through a creative writing class, it made me realize how valuable time is and how
our actions can affect us and can affect who we'll become in the future. It describes not just how I feel
about my career choice but how I percieve life itself, for it does not only put the diminutive aspects of
life beautiful, but it makes these small details seem as if they are trivial to life, the smallest choices
leading to fatal consequences that you may regret or praise in the future. Minutiae is not just a
meaningful word, but beautiful, since it beautifies "small" something oftened perceived as insignificant
or unimportant, but these small instances, in truth, bring about magnanimous consequences. It can be
the details on a drawing, it can be one word in a long sentence, it can be one incident, one mistake that
may be small, but can either make art or change a path entirely.
