Video: Animation on process flow

The continuous, high solids plug-flow digester features high biogas yield and assures high
operation stability thanks to simple, sturdy design and efficient control systems. Two low-speed
agitators equipped in each digester ensure the optimum organics degradation and biogas yield.
The special design on agitator paddles prevents sedimentation of heavy and fine inert materials
(like glass, rock, sand) and floating of light materials (like film plastics) in the digester substrate.

For organic fraction from municipal solid waste, which high solid anaerobic digestion is invented
for, pre-treatment system and post-treatment system are required. In the pre-treatment system,
organic waste is firstly separated out from commingled MSW then shredded. Subsequently, the
stream is conveyed into the dry digester. In the post-treatment system, vacuum digestate
dischargers pump out the digestate for further processing to liquid fertilizer and solid compost
fertilizer. Besides, a small port of digestate is recirculated back to digester for inoculation.
