ABSTRACT

The incident the occurrence of breast cancer it has also become year are shipping companies had
increased by a sense of the numbers in view of the above the risk factors as the use of contraception
and the use of silicon the breast, and lifestyle that a slight niggle, such as lack of of consuming
vegetables and fruits of your labour, consume alcohol and lack of the activity of the sport. Cancer
patients the breast in indonesia almost 50 % woman comes in with stadium the end of occurred to
her that it is hard to be healed in as well as delays in and the limited available management that
is to be performed .One of management is chemotherapy .This study aims to in order to understand
the Relationship Perception of about Side Effects of Chemotherapy with the Quality of Life of
Breast Cancer Patients the at the RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau .The research is quantitative research
of the correlation with the approach of cross-section was done with a significant proportion of
respondents 63 the area the local public hospital RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau with uses the
technique consecutive the sampling method of and to fulfill the criteria of of inclusion of and
exclusion. A measuring instrument used is this. Analysis used is univariat and bivariat analysis
and using the t unpaired. Results got that Pvalue= 0.216 (Pvalue > 0.05). So can concluded that
no relation between the perception of side effects chemotherapy patients with the quality of life of
breast cancer. Based on the results of research is, expected to the RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi
Riau further develop healthcare service to people she to increase to positive assessment treatments
chemotherapy patients breast cancer and quality of life.
