MASDAR

INSPIRATION FOR NAME

The name of the space settlement was chosen after months of hard discussions. We
couldn’t agree on it until one day, we accidentally find out about Masdar City. This city is a
project, located in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. Its whole purpose is to create an
ecological place where people could live. We inspired from this because we wish our space
settlement will be a good influence, a salvation the same way Masdar is. Because of the
good impact that this city will have on the world, we have chosen to name our pace
settlement after it, as a tribute.

Masdar is an example for all cities and countries, because we shall all try to make our
world as healthy and thrive as Masdar is. It is also an inspiration for the ecological place we
want to create. We hope our space settlement will be as a good project as Masdar is, that it
will help the world even more and that will be as beautiful and thrive as Masdar.
