    Dear Atty. Cundangan:

    My peaceful greetings!

    During the Second Special Meeting of the CFCST Board of Trustees which was held at
    the Conference Room No. 02, 4th Floor, Commission on Higher Education, HEDC
    Building, CP Garcia Ave., UP Diliman, Quezon City on March 8, 2019 at 2PM, the Board
    approved the request of Dr. Samson L. Molao for Sabbatical Leave for him to write his
    book entitled “The Rise and Fall of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) Academic
    Leadership”. On (date of the request), he requested for an extension of his leave
    (purpose of the request).

    In this connection, the Board wants to seek legal guidance from your good office
    whether or not to grant the said request. Attached herewith are the Board Resolution
    No. 08, s. 2018, the Contract and his request for extension.

    Please give us legal guidance on this. Thank you very much and more power.
