Practice 11

This is a Vernier caliper . it is used for measuring internal and external dimension. It has a scale, two
locking screws and an adjusting screw. It also has two internal jaws and external jaws. The external jaws
are used for measuring the external caliper dimension. The internal jaws are used for measuring the
internal dimension. (mungkin) the adjusting screw is used for adjusting the jaws.

Revision exercise

1. this is a car, the height of the car is 1.4 m. the length is 5.6 m, and the width is 1.9 m. the car has four
wheels. The radius of the wheels is 30 cm. and the width is 24 cm. the diameter of the exhaust is 8 cm.
the length of the antenna is 1.2 m.

2. this is an aeroplane. The aeroplane has a small rotor. The height of the aeroplane is 3.1 m and the
