On completion of works, all existing identifications and colour coding on the facilities should be restored. The contractor shall remove all paper tapes used on the facilities. Cups and empty containers of paint shall be removed from site. Clear all waste materials from the site and ensure good housekeeping The contractor shall provide any other material or carry out any other works that will ensure the full completion of this painting works even though such materials or works were not expressly stated in this scope of works. The contractor shall submit a closeout report within two (2) weeks of a safe and successful completion. VISITS TO SITE Before preparing the bid, you are advised to visit and get acquainted with the environment and factors that may affect your performance. Also ensure you have full understanding of the scope of works including making an independent assessment of factor such as community relations that- may impede early completion COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT AND SECURITY Ifyour company’s bid is successful, your company shall be requested to take necessary steps to: Protect its personnel, personnel of NGPTC and the general public from accidents, injuries and other negative health impact while carrying out the work. Comply with all statutory regulation on HSE issues by both the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and Federal Ministry of Environment (FME) that will be applicable to this work. Protect the environment (land, water and air) while carrying out this work and shall remedy and restore any impact on environment to its original status at the end of work at your cost. Submit to NGPTC a CASHES plan for the work, including safety procedure and appoint its own safety personnel to oversee the work. A meeting shall be held between your company and NGPTC to discuss and agree on the CASHES plan for the job before mobilization to site. Engage the host community and manage other community affairs to ensure timely completion of works at your own cost.
