Objectives of the study

1) To find out the general perception of respondents regarding the portrayal of women in
television advertisement.
2) To find out the differences in perception between the male and female respondents
regarding the portrayal of women in television advertisements.
3) To find out the perception difference among the respondents about the portrayal of
women in television advertisements on the basis of the age group.
4) To explore the perception difference among the respondents regarding the portrayal of
women on the basis of their education qualification.
5) The study tries to find out the changes needed for the future portrayal of women in
advertisements.
