Pearl Pendant

In this tutorial we will try out some of the most useful com-
mands in RhinoGold. Powerful tools as Pipe, Helix and Pearls.

Circle Helix
1 2 Now, still in the top view, we can define a Helix
Under the Drawing tab with the Circle tool in the
top view we can make a circle to support the next around the circle created before. Under the
step, in this case with 20mm diameter. Drawing tab with the Helix tool, in this case with 7 turns, as
the above image.

Scale 1D
3 Then, under the Transform tab with the Scale 1D tool
in the front view we can adjust the Helix height, in
this case to reduce till 2mm.
Pipe
4 Now, under the Modelling tab with the Pipe tool we
can create a solid around the Helix. Just need to
select the curve who defines the Helix and give the pre-
tended tickness, in this case 1,5mm.

 Pearls
5 In this step, with the Pearls tool under the Gems tab
we can define the Pearl and it’s support as the abo-
ve image. It’s important that it touch the pipe created
previously.
Ellipse
6 Now, under the Drawing tab with the Ellipse tool in
the Right view we can define the curve for the pen-
dant bail, in this case with 6X4mm.

Dynamic Profile
7 At this time we need to define the pendant bail, for
this, under the Jewellery tab with the Dynamic Profi-
le tool we can adjust all the parameters as the pretended
results.
