Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter is to attract your attention to open burning. As the
representative of Kampung Jawa, I have the responsibilities to inform you
that many dwellers living in this area are discontent and unhappy about
the open burning by a group of new move foreigners.

It is important to note that any activities of open burning will pollute the
air and caused detrimental to one’s health, especially plastic and chemical
burn. There are about five foreigners living close to 9897 Kampung Jawa
always conducted open burning during midnight, I have witnessed the
burning of plastics, woods and papers.

People living near their house explain how the burning of chemical waste
has affected their lives thoroughly. They were suffering from breathing
and had difficulty to sleep because of the strong chemical smell.
Consequently, students and the elderly are unable to attend class and
work on the next day due to dizzy.

We have made numerous complaints to them, but to no avail. This issue

has bothered us for more than a week. We hope the health authorities
would carry a stern legal action to punish these people.
