How to use Level Sensors for Fuel Monitoring Systems?

With the increasing population, the number of vehicles on roads is

increasing at a greater pace. Almost every household has a minimum of at
least one vehicle.
As this pace is rising demand for fuel is also rising and so is its production.
Conservation of fuel hence has become an important aspect. Fuel
monitoring has become an important part of various sectors such as
vehicle tracking, fleet management, etc.

Keeping this in mind SAPCON has customized the designs of the level
sensors used for monitoring the fuel.
Capvel-FUEL is specially designed for fleet management and continuous
monitoring of fuel.

In the fuel industry, the level sensors have their applications in:

➔ Vehicle tracking systems

Level sensors are important in the vehicle tracking systems as the
fuel in the vehicles is required to be monitored regularly so that the
tanks can be refilled as well as currently available fuel in the tanks
can be checked. This tracking is possible through capacitance-based
fuel level transmitters namely Capvel-FUEL.

➔ Fuel storage tanks

In the fuel storage tanks, level fuel should be checked at regular time
intervals MPILC-MPILC: Capacitance Based Level Controller and
Transmitter facilitates the continuous monitoring of fuel storage tanks.
It also switches off the pump when it becomes dry. Capvel-ICT is also
used as it has an extrapolated calibration range.

➔ Diesel Generator Sets

In diesel generator sets too, the diesel levels require time to time
checking. For this continuous level detection in the Diesel Generator
Sets MPILC is used as it maintains a constant level to avoid material
wastage.

SAPCON has been the leading manufacturers of level sensors used in

various industries like the fuel industry, chemical industry, dairy industry
and many more.
The company was started in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It is a 35+-year - old
company. The company aims at providing its customers cost-effective
products without compromising the quality of the products.
