Experienced in QA Agile testing with extensive knowledge of agile software and development
lifecycle. Seeking a responsible position as an agile tester/lead in a renowned and fast paced
working environment.

Summary of Knowledge

 I have Three years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurace in Hi- Tech
domain with the client EMC2, which includes Functional Testing, Regression Testing and
Test Automation.

 I have Three years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, which
includes Functional Testing, Regression Testing and in Finance(Wealth
management,Trade and insurance) domain.

 Knowledge of testing tools like HP Quality Center, JIRA and Smart Test Manager.

 I have worked on complete Testing Life Cycle which includes planning, estimation, test

Description:
OLD MUTUAL International(Formerly known as Skandia) is a large independent
provider of products for long-term savings and investments. They offer products and services that cater for
various financial needs and security.
Extranet: A Java-based Application which are used by advisors and policy holders, once
advisor created policy and client approves the application is transferred to Back office for further processing.
Important functionalities include many modules.

Illustration, New business(policy), Buy assets where policy can be invested, Regular Premium( to pay
premium) , Regular Withdrawal( Client is allowed to withdraw on regular basis), Part and full
surrender( Policy holder allowed to surrender policy and get back policy amount) and Death Claim( death of
customer for claims of policy benefits).

Around 25 products are involved with integration of all above mentioned modules depending country of
residence of policy buyer.

Back Office: Java - Based application used by admin of Skandia where processing of policy is done.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Analyze the software requirements and identify gaps in requirement during design
workshop.
 Analyze and write detailed specifications and Test Requirements.
 Developing test plan and test strategy.
 Create compiled modules and functions in QC.
 Writing Test scripts and functions wherever necessary for various units of the
business modules.
 Review of the test cases written for integration and user acceptance level.
 To execute the test cases within the execution window considering all the
environment dependency.
 Effective co-ordination between development team and testing team.
 Day to day defect tracking in order to reduce the delay in the progress of test
execution such that quality product can be delivered to the end user in the given time

scalable capacity. Symmetrix Local Replication (Timefinder) is used for various application based
replication within the same Symmetrix machine which provides seamless business continuity
