Se aa = Edipite February 16th, 2016 Lance Cassino and I have been friends for 57 years. We attended the same high school, Abraham Lincoln. Iwas with Lance when he suffered a broken left foot when a wrestling mat storage door broke loose and smashed his foot in falling to the floor. He went to the doctor and returned with a cast on his foot. I know his foot was healed because the Marine Corp accepted him for service in August 1964, Five years later I noticed him limp badly on his left foot. He told me when he was on active duty in the summer of 1969 at 29 Palms USMC base on a night firing mission, he jumped off the tailgate of oneof the big 155mm guns and hit a tock. His left foot gave out from under him and he suffered severe pain. Over the years Lances limping and pain has increased to where he cannot walk on it normally, and suffers swelling and pain. Another cause of concern is Lances hearing. Over the years his hearing has from "say again" to you having to speak very loudly to him, to him not hearing you a all I believe this hearing loss is due directly to his job in the Marine Corp. He Tan communication and equipment from one gun to another during fring Even though he had ear pugs, they were not enough Wo prevent hearing Lance supported his country when he enlisted in the Marine Corp, now its time for the country to support him with help for his left foot re-injury - after it healed and he was accepted into service and hearing loss.
