Educational Philosophy Statement

"Be the change that you wish to see in the world." -Mahatma Gandhi

I believe that families are the most important aspect for the student because they are their

parent's as teachers as well. Also, I believe that children should have hands on activities,

centers of different ages to accommodate their learning abilities. As educators it's our passion

to help and give our students what they need to learn. Students need to be active learners we

need to make the best to teach them. Teaching to me means to be involve with my student for

they can be connected, their learning style will be. As for me by supporting their education

will help the students their academic skills. Education gives students the tools necessary to

gain a deeper understanding that will impact their lives.

It is important to have a good relationship with the parents/teacher. They recommended at

schools to have a teacher parent conference to discuss the students progress and conduct every

9 weeks progress reports. I believe this environment is cultivated by mutual respect between

myself and my students. When it comes to learning something and retaining information that

it's necessary. Students will feel safe on a learning environment that they will share almost the

similarities about culture. Children learn in diverse ways and development readiness among

all students. I feel that a classroom should feel like their own home and to be inviting. I
always believe that my students come first, to make sure they understand what they are

learning.

As a bilingual educator, I love to teach children. There needs are very important as well as

their emotional, physical, cognitive and their spiritual development. Some students always

have a lack of affection, care and understanding that it is their lives so as teachers we need to

have a support system to care for them. My students need to be honest with me and have

confidence to talk to me always. As an educator I would love to learn more about my students

for them to succeed. I will make sure I have my lesson plans, copies the materials that I need

to teach my students to make a great classroom. My rules for my classroom and expectations

are to follow directions and obey the rules.

Some of my strong beliefs as a bilingual educator is the profession. I really believe that

when you are teaching it’s the expectation that comes to being a teacher. I always feel that if

your open to communicate with your parents you will have a strong bond between the student

and parents. I believe if you challenge each student with their potential they will have a great

year. Academic growth is very important when they’re in their different ages to respect them

and value their opinion. Also, a classroom should be welcoming and expecting all students to

feel excited to start their first day. As a teacher, I will make my sure my students have the

appropriate tools and accommodations for he/she to be interested in the classroom. I believe

that education is the most powerful and longtime process for students.

As a bilingual educator, I will teach the students with great pride for them to succeed i n

their education. I will see that my overall goal is to make sure to focus on the need of the

individuals on their reading, writing and math skills. As an educator, the student will have my
under most attention on their social, emotional, cognitive physical for them to develop. I feel

that I will guide to encourage innovative thinking, creativity and success to be a learning

environment. I want to be a role model for my students to value their trust and expectations.

By me embracing their ethical values, I will be committed to trust their believes on what a

good teacher I will be in the classroom.

It’s not the absence of fear. It’s overcoming it. – Emma Watson
