The lecturer discusses the topic camouflage.

She talks about how soldiers have used the technique

for hiding in jungles by blending among trees. She suggests that this technique was long adopted by
insects, to hide from their predators. Insects would blend into the surrounding rocks of same colour
and stay still. She also talks about butterflies and moths that hide among twigs, from birds that are
superior hunters.

The lecturer discusses the topic, communication. He says that communication is part of our everyday
life and that we may communicate through smiles or frowns. He suggests that animals also
communicate with each other. These communications can be verbal or non-verbal. He says that one
way of communication can be singing and cites the example of male black bird attracting the female.
He also talks about animals using body language to communicate.
