Taro Chips

Ingredients:

 Taro - 1/2 kg
 Cooking Oil - 1/2 bottle
 Cheese Powder
 Sour Cream Powder

Materials and Equipment

 Kitchen Knife
 Kitchen Gloves
 Kitchen Cloth
 Tupperware
 Tong
 Cooking Pan
 Strainer
 Plastic Packaging
 Scissor
 Candle and Lighter
 Peeler
 Stove

Procedure:

1. Prepare all the materials and equipment and ingredients needed,


2. Sterilized the materials to reduce the chance of food contamination and clean the area before
you start,
3. Put them on a clean table,
4. Peel off the taro and rinse it with clean water,
5. Cut into four pieces, then use peeler to get the desired thinness,
6. Heat the pan for two (2) minutes, then put the cooking oil leque until its ready to fry the sliced
taro,
7. Fry the sliced taro until you get the desired texture, color and crispiness,
8. Use a strainer to lessen the oil present in the chips,
9. Put on a tupperware till the chips cool down and dry,
10. Add flavoring powder and shake well, and
11. Ready for packaging and labelling.
