Module # 2 No Bullying Allowed

Learning: intercambia información sobre actividades cotidianas en el aula y en el
entorno inmediato a partir de preguntas y respuestas.
Warm up: I present the new vocabulary. (respectful, offensive, helpful, polite, rude,
tolerant, aggressive, bossy, bully, social media, etc)
Then I ask some questions:
What is a class president?
Who is your class president?
What things does he/ she do?
After Students read the rubric of exercise 1 choose the correct answers.

Development: Next I present some questions to the students.

1. What qualities do you think a class president should have?


2. Do you think you are a good candidate for class president?
3. Do you think it’s important to vote? Why?
This activity is in groups of two students, they discuss the
questions. And refer them to the examples provides as a model.

Listening part:
Students read the rubric, I check they understand the vocabulary, then I play the
track twice for them to complete the exercise.

Grammar part:
After the listening exercise I explain the grammar relating to Should and shouldn´t.
Modal verb: should/shouldn’t
To give advice or make a recommendation, we use the modal verb should. We use
the same form for all persons: I/ you/he/she/it/we/they should be respectful.
Affirmative: You should take care of your classroom.
Negative: You shouldn’t be rude.
Question: Should you give orders?

Workshop: after the explanation I give the students a copy with some exercises
about should and shouldn´t to solve it in class.

Evaluation: participation, listening activity and workshop answers.
