DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF PORTABLE MULTI AGRICUTTER

ABSTRACT:

Multi agri cutter is a machine that uses revolving blades for cutting crops,
sugercane, wooden materials etc., even more sophisticated devices are there in
every field,but power consumption becomes essential for further, multi agri cutter
is a very useful device, which is very simple in construction, it consists of simple
manner and used components are motor and rotating disc arrangements. In our
proposed model, we use cutter in two direction i.e, one in vertical and another in
horizontal. We fix the cutter using locking system.

In this project we use the Slider-crank mechanism which is used to

transform rotational motion into translational motion by means of a rotating
driving beam, a connection rod and a sliding body.

LAYOUT:

WORKING PRINCIPLE:

Here the motor is working with the help of electric power supply, on the
motor shaft we have fixing the arrangement of rotating disc. The rotating disc
arrangements are running like a cam.the cutter is fixed on the top of the
arrangements.

When we switch on the machine the motar starts to rotate the cam
arrangements, here the rotary motion is converted to linear motion by using this
simple mechanism, the linear motion is connected to the cutter, so that cutter
moves upwards and downwards direction the cutting process is carried out
through this machine. When we want to use in other direction, free the locking
keys in one direction and use in other direction.

 Fabrication is simple hence Less in construction cost
 Portable in two direction.

 No need of manual rotation.
