June 2019
‘To whom it may concern,
have had the privilege of working with Clare Devlin at Vista Condor Globat
Academy in 2018-2019. As on experienced teacher, it wos refreshing to watch the
energy and dedication she brought with her on a daily basis. | was awed by her
maturity and positivity, which became inspirational to those around her
In the summer of 2018, Clare attended training in Lucy Calkins Reader's ond
Writer's Workshop. She was able to digest the rigorous and comprehensive
program and execute it well in her classroom. Without any training, she wos able
to tackle Eureka Math and successfully implemented the curriculum with her
students. Clare also received training in Global Education. She inspired her
students to think globally and expand their experiences outside of Santa Ana by
‘studying different countries and cultures throughout the school year. Clare
excelled at supporting high achieving students just as much as she supported
those performing below grade level by providing leveled texts, grophic orgonizers
‘and ulilizing online tools that offered differentiation,
Clore was eager to collaborate with colleagues, especially those teachers who
were a grade level below or above her class, She was receptive to feedback ond
villing to think outside the box when faced with a challenging or struggling
student, Clore understood the importance of developing positive relationships
with her students. She modeled positive self-talk and communication, She
encouraged students to speak their minds ond communicate their feelings.
Clare's dedication to her students ond her professional growth stood out the
‘most. feel very fortunate to have worked with Clore this past school year and feel
confident that she will be a great asset to any school or organization,
Sincerely,
