CORRECTIONS IN THE LAB MANUAL

1. Page 37, in the procedure for S31 Calculation, Step 4: Measure the power coupled
to port 3 for the above set of frequencies by connecting port 3 to VSWR meter/CRO
through the detector.
2. Page 50, in the procedure for impedance measurement, Step 2: Find the position of the
first voltage minima from the load by subtracting ‘n λg / 2’ from S2, where S2 is the
position of first voltage minima on the moving carriage. Let this position be X.
3. Page 45, Figure 9.3: PN Sequence generator for G=[11001]
4. Page 14, correction in the circuit (Figure 4.1) is in the attachment FSK.

Note: Power measurements can be carried out using CRO for Microstrip component
Experiment, as the standby VSWR meter is faulty and will be set right within a week.
