Designing synth presets for me is a work of art… it is a craft by hand, ear, skills,

imagination and creativity and the more love and dedication I put into every single
crafted preset, the better the quality of the end result. Presets are completed when there
is a harmony between me and the sound and if I do not feel that certain synergy with a
sound I made - why should anyone else do?

I want my sounds to connect with the composers for whom it is destined for, that is my
approach when forging new sounds. I am proud to present what I consider my finest
soundbank to date, Luftrum Ambient 2 for Omnisphere 2.

How to install, the smart way...
Luftrum Ambient 2 was designed in Omnisphere version
2.0.1c
and you need at least
that version to play the patches. The soundbank is exported using the
Publish Library

2.1.0d
and you need that version (or later) to install the easy way by
following the 5 simple steps below. Procedure are the same on both Mac and PC:

Patches
All Patches are tagged with type, mood and genre. To show patches within a certain
type (fx. pads) open the patch browser, choose Type and click Pads (see below) the
search result will now show all pads in Luftrum Ambient 2. This only applies to patches
and not multis. All patches are volume controlled to peak around -2 to -4dB at full
velocity.
Multis
Most multis are designed in stacked mode, as split keyboard and made from the
material within the single patches to create new layers and exciting variations -
stacking pads with arpeggios, synths with textures and so on. Due to the wide spread
of sounds across octaves, multis are best played on a 49-keyboard or above.

To preserve CPU, each Multi is created using a maximum of 4 patches, trimmed in

polyphony and effects using only one reverb and one delay per Multi but leaving room
for other individual effects per patch. Deluxe versions - which are Multis with a
(Deluxe) after the name - are often using extra layers, more polyphony and more
effects with no preservation of CPU. If your computer can handle the synth power,
use the Deluxe versions. All Multis are volume controlled to peak around -2 to -4dB.
