Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to determine the barriers to physical

activities as experienced by the Senior High School students of

College of the Immaculate Conception in Sumacab Este, Cabanatuan

City during the school year 2019-2020.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. How may the profile of respondents be described in terms of:

1.1 age

1.2 gender

1.3 strand; and

1.4 frequency of doing physical activities?

2. How may the physical activities of the students be described

in terms of:

2.1 Sports

2.2 Aerobic Exercises

2.3 Anaerobic Exercises

2.4 Water Activities

2.5 Outdoor Leisure Activities

2.6 House and Garden Work?

3. How may the barriers to physical activities of the

respondents be described in terms of:

3.1 individual factors

3.2 social factors

3.3 academic factors

3.4 environmental factors; and

3.5 health factors?
