you do to stop our top researchers from leaving the country? 2) What would you do if you
had the opportunity to study or do an intership abroad? Would you come back to Mexico?
Why? 3) In your opinion, which researchers or inventors that left the country in the past
two decades are the ones that Mexico regrets the most? Why?

1) What would you do to stop our top researchers from leaving the
country?

Well, in my opinion, one of the most important reasons why researchers

prefer to leave the country to conduct their research is because in
Mexico there is not so much support for the research area. I think that
Mexican researchers could do great things if they were really given a lot
of support. We know that Mexicans have the reputation of being very
ingenious, which is why I think Mexican researchers could stand out.

For this reason, what I would do to maintain the researchers in our

country is to provide more support and offer greater and better places
where they can conduct their research because in my opinion Mexican
researchers are up to the researchers in Europe. There are countries
that are world powers and where their researchers do amazing research
and this is because the government supports them a lot.

2) What would you do if you had the opportunity to study or do

and intership abroad? Would you come back to Mexico? Why?

I definitely take this opportunity. Firstly because doing an exchange

gives you many good things. For example, you can learn a new culture,
practice a language with native people of this country, achieve a better
coexistence with people from different countries. There are countries
that have more advanced technology than what exists in Mexico and
these exchanges give us the opportunity to obtain knowledge about the
most modern technology and the next technology. Personally, I want to
study in Canada because I think it is a country that offers many
opportunities for young people and also supports young people a lot.
Canada is very supportive of young people because the government
really understands the idea that young people are the future of the
country and we have to prepare them well for the future.

Yes, I would return to Mexico because I believe that people who have
the opportunity to study abroad should return to the country to share
the knowledge they gained abroad with people who do not have the
opportunity to study abroad. This is why I would return to Mexico
because I believe that all Mexicans would like to see our country as a
world potential.

3) In your opinion, which researchers or inventors that left the

country in the past two decades are the one that Mexico regrets
the most? Why?

The Mexican scientist Arturo Solís Herrera, because the Mexican

scientist discovered an infinite battery but the patent was obtained by
the Russian government because for 4 years he could not get the
patent.
