The Daily Sheets need only a description of the activity and a Task type assigning, Once
you select the task type the cost for that 15 minute slot is entered into the Costs column.
If you have one activity that spans more than 15 minutes just use the fill-handle to
quickly populate the dropdown
Weekly Summary
The Weekly Summary sheets need no data entering. The sheet uses data from the
summary tables of each day and collates them into the Weekly Summary table. This
table is then used to generate the graph.
Time Slots
Each time band runs UP-TO the time shown. For example, 9.15 runs from 9.00 to 9.15
and the activiity you were doing over that time is the one to be chosen.
Task Descriptions

Any time spent reading project documents such as Project Brief, Plan, Schedule or
technical documents such as Specifications or Designs can all be recorded under this
task.
Initial Test
On testing a new feature or bug for the first time or executing a Test Case for the first
time record the time against Initial Test.
Re-Test
When testing a feature or bug or running a Test Case a further time use this task
Closing Test
After testing has been completed and when writing up test results for the test run,
completing reports or release notes enter the time as Closing Test
Waiting on others
If at any time you are unable to progress due to a need for information or support from
others show this as Waiting on others. This can include delays due to environmental
issues and other 'down time'.
Customer Calls
Time spent responding to requests or calls that are generally unplanned, whenever you
get an 'Urgent' email or a request to 'just have a quick look at this for me', record it as a
customer call
