FAQ:
----
Question: I am trying to uninstall ISMV6 , but my system does not do it properly. I
am neither able to install ISMV6. ?

Answer: Sometimes, because of improper registry settings, uninstallation of ISMV6

creates a problem. So, in such cases, please use Uninstallation Patch provided in
the CD. Explore the CD to ISM UnInstallation Setup directory and run Setup.exe.

Introduction
------------
ISMV6 enables typing of Indian Languages in editors of Windows based applications.
ISMV6 also includes various Indian language editing tools that enable searching ,
sorting , spell checking, transliteration etc .
ISM V6 comes with various tools for transliteration, data conversion, dictionaries
and data migration besides Indian language text editing tools such as spell
checkers and Find Replace. The text editing tools for MS Office, StarOffice and
OpenOffice come in the form of macros.

Known issues
------------
Following is a list of some known issues in ISM V6.

Configurable keyboard :

1.In case of Windows Vista 64 bit the security settings for the Macros,both in MS
Office & OpenOffice,should be low before installing ISM.
2.In case of Windows server 2008,after installing ISM,a patch "Win Server 2008 DEP
setting.bat" has to be run and system has be restart.

Floating keyboard:

1. Transfer of first keystroke on some Windows based application after toggling

between shift and unshift state does not work properly in some cases. .
Workaround: Shift the focus to some other application, type a character and come
back to first editor.

Font previewer:

1. While uninstalling fonts, Font Previewer gives messages indicating a failure.

This is a problem related to the Windows Operating System, where the Operating
System uninstalls the fonts, keeping the entries in the Windows fonts folder.
Restarting the machine results in removal of these unwanted entries.
Similar messages are flashed during installation of fonts using FontPreviewer.
However these messages can be ignored since fonts get installed correctly and can
be used in various applications.

Miscellaneous :

1. Currently ISM does not ensure proper results for StarOffice 7.0 on Windows 98
and below.

2. Currently ISM does not ensure proper results for OpenOffice 1.1.0 on Windows 98
and below.

Updates
-------
1. This version also supports Windows 98 and Windows Vista.
2. This version is enabled for working in non administrative modes as well.
3. New utility, "ISM Mail" for enabling mails for Indian languages has been added
4. Support of windows 8 32 bit os.
5. Support ms office 2013

Note:-In case of ISM V6 Net versions it is neccessary to do LAN Settings.
