The Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (Icifa) has


created a new positon of chief executive officer.

Icifa, a lobby for the investment and finance professionals, said in a


notice Friday that the role will help it respond effectively to its growing
market needs and deliver on its legal mandate.

“Icifa seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to


fill the position of Chief Executive Officer. This new role involves
leading the Institute in Kenya and regionally in promoting the highest
ethical and professional standards in the profession.”

The candidate is expected to hold Bachelor’s degree and Master’s


degree in Finance or equivalent as well as a Cifa graduate and a full
member with at least eight years of experience in a senior leadership
position.

The lobby created in 2015 has been headed by chairman Job Kihumba.
