Competency Reflection Portfolios

Part of being a lifelong learner is developing the practice of self -

reflection, self-assessment; celebrating successes and learning from
challenges. In an effort to support this process, ALL Univeristy Hill
students will be setting up on-line Reflection Portfolios. Students from
grades 8-12 will sign up for an account (https://myblueprint.ca) and
upload examples of, and reflections about their learning. Each term,
together with their homeroom class and teacher, students will share a
little of what they have been learning and what they have been
challenged by. From here, goal setting for next term may take place.
This portfolio is a platform for students to chart their own development
and trajectory throughout high school.

Using myBlueprint to Self–Assess on Core Competencies

Portfolios are a great way to tell your story by purposefully
selecting the evidence that you think best demonstrates what you
can do. What have you done so far this year that demonstrates
your strengths in Communication? Thinking? Personal and Social
Responsibility? What are your goals?
