Creating Virtual Machines from the Marketplace
Azure provides a large image gallery in the Marketplace. The gallery includes recent
operating system images of Windows Server, Linux, and SQL Server. You can also store
your own images in Azure, by capturing an existing virtual machine and uploading the
image.

It is very simple to create your rst Windows virtual machine in the Azure portal.
