July 3, 2019 at 11 am Edna Palafox was rushed to Southern Isabela General

Hospital in Santiago City for having fainted inside Santiago City Public Market. Shortly
after, she was transferred to Adventist Hospital because her attending doctors are from
the said hospital.
From there she was given medical attention due to having diagnosed with Aplastic
Anemia way back 2018. For the succeeding weeks of staying in the hospital she was
found out to have Pneumonia, Diabetes and Enlargement of the Heart. As weeks pass
by her health continued to deteriorate, her physicians advised that she be admitted to the
Critical Care Unit (CCU) where she stayed for a week more. She stayed in the hospital
for a total of three (3) weeks which rendered her the amount of Two Hundred Ten
Thousand (210,000) excluding here medicine expenses which amounted to more or less
Three Hundred Thousand (300,000).
Her daughter decided to bring her home on July 28, 2019 and passed away
between 4-5 in the morning the following day.
