Dear Mr Fadi Nader:

Since the announcement of a supposed "National and Latin American Congress

of Speleology" will take place in Malargüe, Mendoza, on April 1st through 8th, 2012,
Argentine Speleological Society needs reiterate their position:

_ Argentine Speleological Society has none relationship with the organization

and/orinvolvement in the aforementioned Congress.

- Argentine Speleological Society has never been represented by Argentine

Speleological Federation, who organizes the event. That Federation is composed only
by a group and managed by a family.

- Argentine Speleological Society rejects the political advantage it comes to getting

from the federation.

- Argentine Speleological Society rejects the intention of the Federation for

representing the speleology Argentina.

- Argentine Speleological Society rejects the claim generated from the federation to
replace the F.E.A.L.C and create a new F.E.A.L.C, appropriating their name and
newsletter.

Argentine Speleological Society declare that our representatives are Latin

America and Caribbean Federation, F.E.A.L.C and International Union of Speleology
(UIS), who we acknowledge by their genuine contribution to speleology.
