Wine Quality Prediction using Machine Learning

ABSTRACT
This Project is going to focus on solving the problem of predicting Wine Quality for the
consumers.
It’s a known fact that older the wine, better the taste. However, there are several factors other
than age that go into wine quality certification which include physiochemical tests like
alcohol quantity, fixed acidity, volatile acidity, determination of density, pH and more. The
main goal of this machine learning project is to build a machine learning model to predict the
quality of wines by exploring their various chemical properties. Wine quality dataset consists
of 4898 observations with 11 independent and 1 dependent variable.
In this data science project, we will explore wine dataset for red wine quality. The objective
is to explore which chemical properties influence the quality of red wines. As interesting
relationships in the data are discovered, we’ll produce and refine plots to illustrate them.
Finally, we would learn how to storyboard our analysis to create a final picture from our
work to help decision makers understand how wine qualities were influenced.
