Shampoo Soap Recipe

175g Castor oil 31.82%

175g Coconut oil 31.82%
35g Grapeseed/Almond oil 6.36%
165g Olive oil 30%
77.446g Lye
181.5g Water
1 tsp Sodium Lactate

Weigh lye
Weigh water in separate container.
Add lye to water, stir well and allow to cool in well ventilated area.
Weigh oils and melt together
When both mixtures are about 120F pour lye water down stick blender into oil
mixture.
Stick blend to trace.
Add sodium lactate and any colours or essential oils
Pour into mold
Once firm – usually a couple of days, remove soap from mold, slice and allow
to cure turning every few days, to dry out thoroughly.
