Interest (p.c.) [Upto Rs 50 lakhs 3.50% 3.50% [ Over Rs 50 lakhs I 400% | 3.75% Sara Interest payable on Savings Bank deposits with balance upto Rs 50 lakhs shall be 3.50% and for deposits above Rs 50 lakhs, the interest rate shall be 3.75%. Interest shall be calculated on a daily product basis as above. The above interest structure is applicable for domestic savings bank deposits, ordinary Non-Resident savings bank deposits (NRO), Non-resident (External) eNings Bank deposits (NRE] and savings bank deposits opened under Capital Gains Scheme 1988.
