Zebra Cake Recipe (Pastry )

1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour


2 Eggs
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Club Soda (Carbonated Water)
1 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/8 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil

PREPARATIONS:

None.

DIRECTIONS:

1- Beat eggs until stif f in a large bowl.


2- Add sugar, v anilla and v egetable oil and continue whisking until well mixed.
3- Combine f lour with Baking powder and stir.
4- Gradually , add the f lour mixture and club soda to the egg/sugar bowl while whisking (sif t the flour).

Note: Adjust/Add f lour or club soda if necessary until the batter resembles the one in the v ideo

5- Combine cocoa powder with boiled water (approx. 1 tbsp).

6- Div ide the batter in half and add the cocoa mixture to one half , stir well.

7- Take a small 2 inch deep bakeware, grease with v egetable oil.

8- Add/drop f ew tablespoon of cocoa batter right in the middle of the bakeware, allow a minute f or the cocoa batter to
spread on its own and add same amount of batter (non cocoa) on top of the cocoa batter.

9- Continue the last two steps until f inish.

10- Preheat ov en to 350º F (176º C), bake the cake f or 35 minutes.
