Definitions of Terms

Aloe Arborescens- Also known as Candelabra aloe, candelabra,

arborescent aloe or octopus plant. This species of aloe vera blooms

in winter and produces red flowers inside which seed are stored.

Its appearance is more similar to a cactus and has a woody trunk

that can reach up to four meters. It has beneficial medicinal and

healing properties,and is especially used to soothe burns. In

addition and according to some studies, aloe arboscnes helps in

the proliferation of cells. It can benefit cancer patients since

its intake improves the effects of chemotherapy, increasing its

effectiveness.

Adhesive- tending to remain in association or memory.

Mucilage- a gelatinous substance of various plants (such as legumes

and seaweeds) that contains protein polysaccharides and is similar

to plants gum.
