*What actions do you think you need to take for a well researched PPT?

*1. Carefully create your slides*

As far as possible, create slides afresh. Never try to finish creating a slide by
just copy pasting. That does not take the message across properly. Even if you have
to copy paste it, edit the content, change the usage of words according to the
audience you are going to address, so that you will give an impression to the
audience that you have personalised the slide contents.

*2. Consistency*

Consistency here means uniformity. Uniformity must be maintained for the following:

- Font style, color, size and location of the title text and slide text
- Quality of the pictures used in the slides
- Symbol used for bullets must be the same across the slides
- The style of numbers, in the numbered lists
- Many more.

*3. Take home message*

Decide the take home message for the audience. Think about what messages you want
your audience to learn, keep in mind for longer. Are those messages be getting
across to them through your PPT? Check that with care. You may then give a
impression of effective presenter.

*4. Give a PROFESSIONAL impression*

There are loads of effective ways to grab the attention of the audience, you may
ask a question, or put a question in the slide and make the audience think and feel
inclusive etc. Never try to grab attention by flashy text animations and slide
transitions.
