The matrix above defines the various components of

twenty popular Jazz related chord types. This listing is
not all-inclusive. Perhaps forty or more forms are
available and are in general use. That does not count
the unique selections available via Power Chords and
other alternative chord systems. The intent is to provide
you with the top twenty commonly accepted jazz forms.
The next three pages illustrate each of the forms
detailed above. Check the Continuing Education
