Excel Barcode Font Example

The tutorial will explain the different methods of using IDAutomation barcode fonts in Excel.

The text in column B is formatted for the barcode font by entering the formula =("*"&A12&"*") which
adds the "*" as the start/stop character as required for Code 39.

The font selected, IDAutomationHC39XS, is specifically designed for Excel columns.

Excel Barcode Font Example with Check Digit

The IDAutomation Code39Mod43() function may be used if a check digit is needed, as


demonstrated in the example barcodes below. Please refer to the tutorial in the link below for
