I am Shashwat Drolia, a 4th year B.B.A. LL.B student at National Law University
Odisha and with great enthusiasm I am writing to apply for Summer Clerkship at
High Court of Delhi from 01st July – 31st July 2019 (1 Month). My area of interest
mainly includes General Corporate, Corporate Taxation, Personal Laws and IPR.
Therefore, I request you to kindly accommodate me accordingly.

I am very impressed by the diverse area of the corporate and taxation cases that high
court deals and resolves such matters. I am excited by the chance to gain experience
by working at High Court, as I will then be practically involved with many of the
topics I have covered in the University.

In my last internship at P.S.A Legal, DELHI, I worked with the litigation department.
Working there taught me a lot and also improved my researching skills. I was
involved in many ongoing cases, so I did an in-depth legal research for them with my
full dedication.

I will be obliged by the chance to contribute to your organization and am prepared to

engage in continuous learning. This clerkship would provide me with the ideal
opportunity to assist your organization and to expand my research skills. Lastly, I will
work quickly and efficiently and will complete all my tasks well before the given
deadlines.
