Title of the activity: Sorting Files Quarter: First Quarter

Sorting Files

Goal The goal is to sort files of different kinds that include image, video, audio, documents,
spreadsheets and presentations. The files are to be organized into the appropriate
folders.

Given one-day task activity, students are expected to do the following:

A. demonstrate a clear understanding in sorting the files according to file type
correctly ;
B. develop skill in organizing various kinds of computer files according to file type

Role You are a File Organizer.

Situation My cousin named Samantha is having a hard time looking for her files. As a file
organizer, you need to help her arrange her files in the computer. Show your expertise
in organizing various kinds of computer files according to file type

Performance This is an individual task activity. You should sort files of different kinds that include
image, video, audio, documents, spreadsheets and presentations. The files are to be
organized into the appropriate folders.

Task Procedures

1. On the desktop, open the folder to be arranged. The folder contains files of
Samantha that are disarranged.
2. Rearrange the files so that the contents of each folder match the folder’s titles.
3. To rearrange the files, use the cut and paste command from one folder to its
correct folder.
4. Save your folder in drive C by copying and pasting the folder from the previous
location to drive C.
5. Rename the folder as “familyname.PA”.
6. Upload your file in eclass.
