Maithon Power Limited has implemented the 1050 MW near the city of Dhanbad in the state
of Jharkhand in India.
Overview of the power plant through classroom lectures and control room as well as visit to the
power plant.
 Damodar valley corporaton (duraton 15 days )
The DVC operates both thermal power statons and hydel power statons .
There are 6 thermal power statons (7410 MW) and three hydro-electric power statons with a
Capacity of 147.2 MW which contribute to a total capcity of 7557.2 MW in DVC.
