Dear HON. NICOLAS:

Greetings in the Name of Saints Anne and Joachim!

The present society that we are living right now is one of the most progressive societies that the world had. It
is prevalent that the contemporary generation is living and has been relying on the influence of modern
technology thus producing such weak-hearted and introverted children and teenagers.

According to the study of Center for Disease Control on 2017, bullying is one of the most faced problems
and/or struggles of the children and teenagers. It has been causing them to withdraw from attending school
increasing the risk of poor school adjustment, their difficulty in sleeping, anxiety, and depression. Moreover,
as aforementioned, the weak-hearted teenagers have been at risk on committing suicide.

In line with this, the Santa Ana Parish Youth Ministry organizes a seminar related to the prevention of bullying
here in our town. The ministry believes that the action should start amongst the teenagers, who are the main
victims as well as the main perpetrators, in preventing the bullying incidents in the society. The seminar
entitled “Bullying: A Major Problem, What Else Can We Do?” is happening on April 7, 2019, 1:30 PM at the
Archbishop Paciano B. Aniceto Building (APBA Building), Santa Ana Parish, Sta. Ana, Pampanga.

We are inviting your good office to attend the said seminar and it would be much appreciated if your SK
Colleagues and the youth of your barangay can attend as well. With this, you are helping us to achieve the
goals of the youth ministry of Santa Ana Parish.
