DEFINITION OF TERMS

Obese- it is a person above one's normal weight. (National Institutes of Health, n.d)

Body fats- it consists of a wide group of compounds that are generally soluble in
organic solvents and largely insoluble in water. (Nirav R., 2012)

Obesity- it means having too much body fat. It is different from being overweight, which
means weighing too much. The weight may come from muscle, bone, fat, and/or body
water. Both terms mean that a person's weight is greater than what's considered
healthy for his or her height. (Griffin P. Rodgers, M.D., M.A.C.P., et. Al 2016)

Fast food- it is characterized as quick, easily accessible and cheap alternatives to


home-cooked meals. They also tend to be high in saturated fat, sugar, salt and calories.

Diet- it is a food and drink normally taken by an individual. (Nadia Nadjml, 2016)
