1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 PURPOSE OF THIS MANUAL
This manual contains all the information required for using the bone bandsaw safely
and correctly.
By following these instructions you will ensure a long service life to the bandsaw and
safe working conditions to the operator.

WARNING!
The bandsaw should be connected to the mains by attaching the mains lead to a walll-
mounted switch equipped with a thermomagnetic circuit breaker.
THIS OPERATION MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL!

6.1 PRECAUTIONS
Before turning on the bandsaw, operators must ascertain that all the protective devices
are correctly installed in their working position, and that all the safety devices are in
working order. Operators should avoid wearing loose or flapping articles of clothing,
and keep their hair in a hairnet, remove bracelets, necklaces, rings, watches, etc.
6.2 ADJUSTING THE CUTTER
Make sure the bandsaw is turned off, and move the portion gauge (using its
lock/unlock knob) until the distance between the gauge and the blade corresponds to
the desired cutting thickness.

After adjusting the portion gauge, put the product to be processed on the table and
start the bandsaw. Lift the pusher, move the product towards the saw blade and use
the pusher to press the product until you finish cutting,

8.1 PRECAUTIONS
WARNING!
DO NOT SERVICE THE MACHINE WHEN IT IS ON!
Before performing maintenance on the machine or before cleaning it, disconnect the
machine from the mains by turning the main switch to “O".
Do not use petrol or solvents as cleaning materials; use appropriate cleaning products.
Do not touch the blade with your bare hands — use protective gloves
When cleaning, protect your eyes by wearing protective glasses.
8.2 PERIODIC CLEANING
All parts that have been in contact with the product must be cleaned after each
working cycle. Proceed as follows:
1) Remove any residual cuttings from the table, especially from places where they
tend to gather.
2) Open the door and remove any residues left inside the machine.
3) Remove and the sawdust box.
4) Clean the blade guides.
Thoroughly clean the bandsaw every 36 hours of work, using appropriate products.
Make sure the bandsaw cannot be accidentally turned on during cleaning operations.
8.3 MAINTENANCE
Before shipment, the bandsaw is adapted to any special customer requirements and
carefully tested in all its functions, so that when delivered it is fully operational.
ANY REPLACEMENT WITH NON-ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS CAUSES THE IMMEDIATE
ANNULMENT OF THE WARRANTY AND OF LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO PEOPLE,
ANIMALS, PROPERTY OR THE ENVIRONMENT.
