Narrative

Report
First and second week of our meeting was not yet pressured;
we played a confidence game where in you need to be
confident enough to answer the questions that are being
thrown to you. We had a speaking skills activity where you
need to read the Queer Language and pronounced the words
correctly and with proper stress, also we have listening, reading
and essay writing skills test. Third and fourth week, in these
weeks we can already feel the pressure whereas we discussed
about Literature: the 5 Characteristics of Literature, and the
concept map about Literature, also we had another Listening
activity and had a short quiz about it. Fifth and sixth week,
the pressure is added wherein we discussed about the poem “I
am an African Child”: the message of every line stanza and the
emotion carved through it, and then we had our first
assignment after the discussion. Also we had a group activity
where we are going to have a character analysis about the
story of “The Hands of the Blacks”. Seventh and Eighth week
(last 2 weeks of meeting), we discussed about the story “The
Soul of The Great Bell” then we had a creative visual
presentation, we created a creative outline about Indian
Literature, last but not the least the “Reader’s Theatre” about
the Ramayana Literature. After all the discussion and activities
I am sure that we learn all of what we should learn this 1st
Quarter and apply it into any matters.
