INTRODUCTION

Sabu language as one of world’s language, group of Asian language and of


nine Sumba-Sabu language group, of the five languages groups of Nusa Tenggara
area with a total of 80 native language spoken in the area. Sabu raijua compounds
taken as data for this research is one of the dialects of sabu language, from a
special island called Raijua, with total number of about 8000 speakers with
descriptive qualitative method.

CLOSING

Thanks for God to help me in arranged this project. In this project, I research
sabu’s language. In this language, I found that sabu’s language was unique. I
mean that, in some words, for example BADJU (T-SHIRT), the sound of DJU
is almost same with JU, and there are many words more that same as those
word in up. For example, DJUKA LODO (SINGING), and WUDJU (
CRAZY).
