00541 ‘Sub-Clause 22.6. is amended as follows: In the last sentence of the second paragraph, the word "Otherwise" is replaced by "In case such work is notin the scope of the Contractor’. ‘The following Sub-Clause is added at the end of Sub-Clause 22: 22.9 The Contractor shall: (a). comply with the. measures and requirements relevant to the Contractor set forth in the IEE, the EMP, the present national resettiement policy and any small ethnic community peoples plan (tothe extent they concem impacts on affected people during construction), and any corrective or preventative actions set out in a safeguards montoring report; (b) make available a budget for all such environmental and social measures; (©) provide the Employer with a written notice of any unanticipated environmental, resettle- ‘ment or small ethnic community peoples risks or impacts that arise during construction, implementation or operation of the project that were not considered in the IEE, the EMP, the RP or any small ethnic community peoples plan; (@) adequately record the condition of roads, agricultural land and other infrastructure prior to starting to transport materials and construction; and (©) fully reinstate pathways, other local infrastructure, and agricultural land to at least thelr pre-project condition upon the completion of construction 23. Test and Inspection ‘Sub-Clause 23.2 is replaced by the following: 232 (a) The Employer and the Project Manager or their designated representatives are entitled to attend the factory acceptance tests, which shall be performed at the Manufacturer's worksitesting laboratories. Factory acceptance tests shall be organized separately for ‘each equipment. In case both equipment 230 kV and 132 kV (circuit breakers, discon- rectors, instrument transformers) will be manufactured at the same location, one Factory ‘Acceptance Test shall be foreseen. Factory Acceptance Test shall be performed at least for the folowing equipment: ‘© power transformers 230/132 kV, ‘+ power transformers 132/33 kV, + circuit breakers 230 & 132 kV, ‘+ disconnectors 230 & 132 kV, + instrument transformers 230 & 132 KV, + substation automation system, + protection relays and + communication equipment, han Bangladesh: Tender Documents for 230/132 KV and 132/33 kV Substations, Western Zone @ Contract No, PGCBIKAW/2012.66.4364WZSS BO WO NaSE fate CCIE Berar 00542 ‘The Contractor shall be responsible for bearing the costs for the above mentioned wit- nessing of factory accepiance tests by three Employer's Engineers in each visit, consider- ing visa fees and health insurance to cover all medical costs that may be required during the visits, the return air fare (economy class), hotel charges, travelling expenses from alt- port to hotel and hotel to place of testing and retuin, food, laundry, together with a per di ‘em allowance of USD 100 for maximum 7 (seven) days, for each visit and for each of the Employer's Engineers, 232 (b) The Contractor shall provide separate trainings for 4 (our) Employer's Engineers at the _— Manufacturer's premises, for instalation, testing, operation and maintenance of the fol. lowing equipment OTe, circuit breakers 230 & 132 kV, substation automation system equipment, protection equipment DFOR and ‘communication equipment. ‘The Contractor shall be responsible for bearing the costs for the above mentioned train- ings for four Employer's Engineers in each training, considering visa fees and health in- surance to cover all medical costs that may be required during the visits, the return air fare (economy class), hotel charges, traveling expenses from airport to hotel and hotel to place of testing end return, food, laundry, together with a per diem allowance of USD 100 for maximum 14 (fourteen) days (as per necessary and agreed training schedule), for each training and each of the Employer's Engineers. 232 (c) The Contractor shall provide, during and after the instalation, on-site training for opera- tion and maintenance of the works, for each new substation, for 16 (fifteen) Employer's staff, for the duration of minimum 1 (one) week The Contractor shall be responsible for bearing all costs for the above-mentioned train- ing.
