JEJE SOLO SINGING GUIDELINES

General Guidelines
1. Each year level shall have one (1) representatives for song solo.

2. The contestant shall render a song coming from the Jeje Era ranging to year 2012-
2015.

3. Contestants must provide their accompaniment in a flashdrive or phone and submit it

to the technical right before the event starts.

4. Strictly no explicit songs allowed.

5. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging (Song Solo)

Voice quality (tonality, appropriateness to genre, & technique)- 50%

Style and Performance (rendition qualities, discipline, timing

and precision, choreography, delivery & interpretation,
appropriateness of staging of song selected ) - 30%

Over-all Appeal (stage appeal, audience impact, & costume ) - 20%

JEJE DANCE GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

General Guidelines

1. Each year level shall have one group as a representative.

2. Each group will have a minimum of eight (6) members and maximum of ten (10)
members.
3. Each Group will perform a dance number with a minimum of 3 minutes and
maximum of 5 minutes. Beyond this limit, a total of 5 points will be deducted from
the group’s total score.
4. The members of the groups maybe composed of all males or females, or any
combination thereof.
5. The dance number must have an accompaniment of any music, which is on the
context of jejemon era ranging from 2012-2015.
6. The music shall be forwarded to the technical before the start of the program.
7. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Choreography (Creativity, Artistry, Style & Originality) - 50%

Execution (Timing & Coordination, Projection & Expression) - 30%

Relevance to the theme - 10%

Audience Impact - 10%

JEJE FLIPTOP GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
General Guidelines

1. Each year level shall have 1 group representative composed of three (3) members.

2. Do not bite (copy) someone else work. Your freestyle must be 100% original material
and shall not infringe upon any third party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual
property rights nor shall it contain any vulgar words and sexually explicit lyrics.

3. The language and dialect to be used in the battle is either English or Tagalog or
Taglish.

4. The rap lyrics (punch line) should focus more on humor whether you mock or ridicule
your opponent.

5. There will be an appointed timekeeper. He/She will be provided with a stopwatch and
will be responsible for indicating the end of each round. The clock starts from the
beginning of the first line spoken by the competitor.

6. For the preliminary round of competition each group will be given two rounds each for
one (1) minute, for the semi-final round each group rhymes twice for one (1) minute per
round, in the final round each group rhymes twice for one (1) minute. In case of a tie
another round (OT) will be provided to break the tie.

7. The topic/ theme will be picked on the spot.

8. Each group must rhyme over the same beat as their opponent.

9. Competitors who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by the

organisers will be disqualified from the competition

10. All members of the group shall speak as emcee and do the rhyme.

11. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

JEJE PICTURE REMAKE GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA
(SOLO AND GROUP)

General Guidelines

1. This contest is open for all interested contestants.

2. One entry per person only.
3. For group pictures they must attach their “jeje name” for the group.
4. The entries must be emailed to Merrychiika@gmail.com on or before August 31,
2019
5. Interested contestants for both solo and group picture will choose photos to
remake in the choices given by the management.
6. Judges decision is final and irrevocable.
